Something happens when you’re a child. You remember it for years. Then a conversation, a photograph, or something your own child does changes how you understand it.
The event belongs to one time. The new understanding belongs to another.
Both are part of Fragments of a Life.
Some posts will stay close to what I remember experiencing then. Others will return to those experiences from where I am now. When those pieces connect, you’ll be able to move between the childhood story and the later reflection.
That doesn’t mean the adult version settles everything. Sometimes I have more information. Sometimes I just have a different question.
The explorer’s Timeline groups fragments by the period of life they concern. Where I know more about the timing, I can include it. Where I don’t, I’ll leave room for uncertainty.
These introductory posts sit under “Now,” because they’re part of building the project. As the stories arrive, other periods will begin to fill in.
Try switching to Timeline when you return to the explorer. Then try the web again. One helps you find a place in a life; the other lets you follow a connection across it.
